2009 Figawi Race Weekend Program
The Hyannis Yacht Club, 490 Ocean Street, Hyannis is the main headquarters on the mainland and Veronica's Cottage on Swains Wharf is the main headquarters on Nantucket.
The official program during the 38th edition of the Figawi Race Weekend will be as follows:
FRIDAY, MAY 22ND
1500-2000: REGISTRATION-HYANNIS YACHT CLUB
490 Ocean Street Hyannis
PLEASE BE AWARE OF PARKING REGULATIONS HANDED OUT AT ENTRANCE
Skipper's Packet and bag pickup. There is no formal skippers meeting. Scratch sheets, slip assignments, etc are included in packet.

SATURDAY, MAY 23RD
0955: Figawi Race to Nantucket WARNING SIGNAL: Race Course
Consult Sailing instructions.
1000: FIRST START: Consult Scratch Sheets for individual starting times.
1800-2100: RACE WEEKEND TENT PARTY
SUNDAY, MAY 24TH
1130: HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL-Nantucket Boat Basin-View from docks.
1330: CLAMBAKE Race Weekend Tent
Tickets sold at tent entrance and registration Friday at HYC
1630: AWARDS: Race Weekend Tent
1800: Invitation only VIP SPONSOR PARTY
1900-2200: RACE WEEKEND TENT PARTY
MONDAY, MAY 25TH
0930: RETURN RACE: Consult Sailing Instructions for start times.
1500: RETURN RACE PARTY/AWARDS: HYC (approximate times)
Race Weekend Tent admission after 6pm requires Event Bracelets and ID proving 21 and over.
Event Bracelet is not required for Joke Telling Session (Sunday AM), but ID proving 21 and over is required.
Event Bracelet is not required for Clambake, but purchase of Clambake Ticket is required.
Figawi Race Headquarters is located on Swain's Wharf at Veronica's Cottage.
There are no tent entry bracelets available for sale on Nantucket . Tent entry bracelets are only sold to skippers entered in the Figawi Race.
